There are mainly four different user groups that can participate in the product.

i.Di Social is a digital and open-source platform available to the citizens to raise Asks (more than just grievances) on any subject ranging from service delivery, to budget allocation, to taking part in policy-making and implementation.
Community champions, Political entrepreneurs, Social Activists and Elected Representatives at all levels are notified of the Asks by citizens in their constituencies. These various stakeholders can take action to enrich the asks with more information and promote the asks in the social media platforms to gather more support from the people who share similar needs.
Community champions are directly associated with elected representatives and bring Asks raised by petitioners to their notice.
Political entrepreneurs use creative ways of solving problems and act as new leaders in the field of politics who try to galvanize and consolidate support from people of distributed interests.

This will enable elected leaders(policymakers) not only to understand citizen needs in detail and design policies to address their needs but also gives an opportunity to explain to the stakeholders about policies enacted and steps taken to implement through various government agencies
The status of the Asks can be tracked by the petitioner with the Ask number in a timeline(date by date), which also includes actions taken by various stakeholders.
